Centre Stage

While browsing around the web, I just randomly came across the website of set designer Richard Finkelstein. http://www.rfdesigns.org/1776.htm His designs for a wide range of productions are origional and organic, and I love the way in which he designs for a samall stage with all the grandeur of a large scale production.

CINDERELLAS DRESS IS OFFICIALLY BEGUN

Today saw the beginning of creation of my A level project final piece. My Cinderella will be wearing a dress a far cry from the blue glittery number that Disney put her in. Blood, burns, soup stains and extracts from her diary are what I have planned to give a sense of her character in the dress. So far I've just roughly cut the material, made the basics of a corset and pinned it all together. Im looking foward to getting on with it over the next few months though.

Daisy Lowe's 21st fantasy

I have just come across images of Daisy Lowe's 21st Birthday images and have fallen in love with the outfits that she and her guests wore. I gather that there was a fantasy theme going on, so Daisy had Prangsta Costuimers (http://www.prangsta.co.uk/) outfit every one of her 250 odd guests. My god how I wish I had been on that guest list.
