Birmingham Royal Ballet- Creating Cinderella

It just so happens that BRB's winter production is going to be Cinderella, much to my excitement. I have my ticket booked and have been following the creation of the ballet on the BRB Cinderella blog they have set up. The designer for the production is John Macfarlane, who trained at the Glasgow school of fine art and who is responsible for the design of many iconic ballets, including The Nutcracker. He has designed both the costume and set for the production, as well as painting the four cycloramas used in the piece. His designs look truly beautiful and I cannot wait to see them in practice and in the setting of the production on its opening night.
